This is the UK and Scotland trip, prepared from the photo trail: London streets and comfort food, Windsor stone walls, Manchester and Blackpool stops, then a colder, moodier stretch through Glasgow, the Highlands, Inverness, Stirling, and Edinburgh.
Autumn streets, warm plates, grey skies.
Less checklist travel, more little scenes: a lake in London, red phone boxes, rainy paths, road views, whisky rooms, city lights, and food that kept the cold manageable.
First city rhythm
Architecture, parks, market bites, and easy comfort-food stops before the route moved north.
Castles, meals, and small detours
Windsor brought the castle mood, while Manchester and Blackpool added casual meals and lighter city moments.
The road got moodier
Autumn paths, grey Highland roads, whisky rooms, and stone monuments gave this chapter a heavier, colder atmosphere.
Old stone and winter lights
Edinburgh closed the trip with gothic buildings, palace lawns, night lights, and one final return through London.
